FTTH is a technology being utilized by the service providers to establish a high quality reliable optical pathway to their users. This pathway enables the users to exploit the high bandwidth capabilities needed for voice, data and video.
FTTH networks are being installed today using one of three general methods. The specific method used is based on a number of different considerations that include items such as economics, rights-of-way, legacy network characteristics and environmental factors. Two of the methods route the fiber cable underground and the third method routes the fiber cable above ground. In some cases a combination of these methods is employed where the dedicated use of one method is prohibited in some way by the selected route.
The three basic installations methods are:
- Direct - burial installation
- Duct installation
- Aerial installation
These methods are utilized in new builds, rehabbing of existing networks or overbuilds of existing networks. The details of these various methods are contained on other pages of our website. MP Nexlevel is competent and capable of utilizing all of these methods as required to install FTTH networks for our clients.
By using MP Nexlevel, the construction of your FTTH network no longer is an insurmountable task. We utilize proven and established construction methods to deploy fiber all the way to the customer's premises.
