Leadership Team

Rob started with the company in 1989 maintaining properties and joined the trade portion of the business in 1995. He began as a Laborer and Operator before advancing to Foreman and supervisory roles. This led him to his career path of Regional Vice President and Vice President of Operations until he accepted his current role as President in 2018. He leads business, servicing three main markets which include building and maintaining the infrastructure of communication, power, and gas. Driving the safest environment for our team and the public around us and providing the best value for our customers is Rob’s top priority. Rob has been with the business for over 30 years and in the industry for over 28 of them. Rob graduated from Maple Lake High School and has a degree in sales and management from St. Cloud Technical College.

Todd has been in the communication industry since 1989. He has 16 years of experience working for a telephone company as a Lineman, Splicer and in Advanced Troubleshooting. He also has 8 years of experience working in the utility construction industry. Todd manages the communications, integrated networks, fiber to home, lighting and das network divisions with contracts ranging from $1,000 to multi-million dollar contracts.

Jimmy has been with MP Nexlevel since the summer of 2001. His career began in 2001 in the Field as a Fiber Optic Technician, traveling throughout the United States. While at MP Nexlevel, he has held positions of Fiber Technician, Foreman, Supervisor, and Project Manager. He advanced to Area Manager in 2011 and accepted the role of Regional Vice President in 2021. He currently leads a diverse and talented team including underground and aerial construction, fiber optic splicing, ISP wiring, DAS, mobile solutions, data centers and engineering.

Jimmy’s primary objective is to work with his customers to ensure they are receiving the best fiber network possible, which builds relationships that last beyond the projects.

Tim has been in the communications industry for over 44 years, starting his career with Northwestern Bell in 1978. He began his long tenure as a Lineman and worked his way through almost every labor position available until moving into management in 1990. While in management, Tim specialized in the construction, maintenance and installation of facilities associated with business as well as residential services. Tim has never strayed from the communications world and has built many lasting relationships in the industry. In 2020, Tim joined MP Nexlevel as a Project Manager in renewable resources. He specifically supported MP’s Wind Farm Division, leading teams responsible for the placement of all utilities between wind towers. In October of 2021, Tim was promoted to Regional Vice-President and now oversees a talented group of Regional Managers that construct several multi-million-dollar communication projects throughout many markets within the Central United States.

Coby has been with the company since the year 2000. He began his career with MP Nexlevel as a Laborer and has held the positions of Operator, Foreman, Supervisor, and Project Manager prior to his current position of Regional Vice President. He oversees a team of highly experienced Regional Managers performing communications construction in multiple markets within the U.S. Coby’s career experience in communications from ground-level operations to executive management provides the backbone for his successful execution of contracts ranging in size from thousands to 25 million plus.

Tony has been with the company since 2011. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry beginning in New York City as a Line Locator in 1993. From there, his career has taken him all across the United States, holding various positions including Chief Estimator, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Manager before becoming Regional Vice President at MP. Tony manages the western headquarters where he leads an incredibly experienced and talented team throughout multiple states with contracts in excess of 50 million dollars.

Tracy has been employed with MP Nexlevel since the beginning of 2011. She came to us with extensive knowledge of the safety industry from her 11 years working in the water and climate control industry. She has worked with MP Nexlevel personnel to maintain safety certifications and driving requirements through our Human Resources Department. She was tasked with maintaining records for the safety exposure of the company. Tracy also oversaw our claims mitigation services to assure all aspects are completed and incorporated into future safety procedures. This experience has given Tracy the knowledge and ability to excel as the Safety Director for MP Nexlevel, the duties she officially accepted beginning early 2015.

Derek has been involved in the Communications Industry since 1987. His experience includes working directly with Local Telephone, Long Distance, Broadband, Wireless, Cable TV, Digital TV companies, City and County Municipalities including fiber build-outs to both residential housing and business developments.

He joined MP Nexlevel in 2009 as a Marketing and Business Development Director to work directly with the various stimulus projects, national accounts, and the development of other business opportunities.
